About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our dynamic and growing team. If you are a qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and passionate about aviation, we want to hear from you.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and serviceability of all aircrafts at our Broome base.
Reporting
to the Maintenance Manager – Broome, you will play a pivotal role in the
success of maintaining a safe and efficient workplace environment and providing
great quality service to PHI’s Stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Demonstrate competency in ensuring PHI aircraft airworthiness whilst working under supervision
- Function safely in the hangar / line environment
- Communicate effectively with aircrew, maintenance team and others
- Clean, maintain and protect the aircraft
- Towing and mooring of company aircraft
- Maintaining a clean and safe work space
- Other tasks as directed by the Senior Base Engineer/Supervising Engineer from time to time
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated competency in Ramco or other maintenance tracking software systems
- Completed a formally recognised military technician or civilian apprenticeship program OR
- Achieved a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (in Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics)
- Experience in all aspects of line maintenance and defect rectification preferred.
- Experience working on dual pilot twin engine helicopters preferred.
