About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Airworthiness Engineering Coordinator to join our dynamic growing team.

Reporting to the HAAMC – Australia, you will be responsible for coordinating airworthiness matters between Airworthiness, Engineering and Operations for the PHI International Australia Aircraft Fleet on behalf of the Airworthiness Department.

 

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Liaise with and provide support and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with ICA and certified in accordance with company policies.
  • Liaise with and provide support and guidance to the AMO Production Planner to ensure all maintenance required by the System of Maintenance is completed when required.
  • Work with PHI Technical Support and helicopter manufacturers to ensure all information necessary to carry out modifications and repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended standards are available.
  • Provide support and guidance to all divisions within PHI relating to RAMCO tracking, reporting and compliance as well as maintenance, certification, and release to service requirements for the PHI Australia Fleet.
  • Provide support and guidance to all divisions within PHI relating to completion of maintenance, certification, and release to service requirements for the PHI Australia Fleet.
  • Assist with the coordination and completion of Aircraft Airworthiness Reviews in support of the HAAMC.
  • Liaise with and provide support and guidance relating to the maintenance of Aircraft Aeronautical Products (parts and components) either scheduled or unscheduled.
  • Support the Reliability Program Administrator and HAAMC with the functions of the Reliability Review Board as required.
  • Undertake assessments of and provide advice and guidance that ensures compliance with Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness for the PHI Australia Fleet including ADs, ASBs, SBs and other regulatory information.

 

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Worked in rotary wing line and heavy maintenance environments and in remote locations.
  • Experience in coordinating the carrying out of maintenance.
  • Sound understanding of the requirements for maintaining and modifying aircraft.
  • Experience using Computer Maintenance Management System Software.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities ensuring business prioritise are planned accordingly.
  • Understanding of Australian Aviation Legislation (CASRs, CARs, CAOs etc) related to the continuing airworthiness management of aircraft including AMP, Reliability, Airworthiness Review.
  • Experience assessing and implementing Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
  •  Understanding of Human Factors in Aviation.
  • Have written Procedures, Process and Aviation Documents including System of Maintenance and OMELs
