About the role

PHI International is seeking a qualified Licensed Engineer to join our Engineering Team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role performs maintenance of aircraft at the base and remotely when required.

 

Duties and key responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance of company aircraft
  • Function safely in the hangar / line environment
  • Communicate effectively with aircrew and others
  • Provide specialist technical knowledge regarding aircraft systems
  • Other tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer.

 

We are seeking applicants with the following experience and qualifications:

  • NZCAA Engineering License with engine and rotary wing aircraft categories.
  • Experience in all aspects of line maintenance and defect rectification.
  • AW-139 Electrical, Instrument and Radio Ratings.
  • The ability to work well in a small, high performing team.

  • New Zealand citizenship or the ability to live and work in New Zealand
  • 5+ years' experience in related to service of offshore, twin engine, medium size helicopters (desirable)
