About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Central Purchasing Supply Officer to join our dynamic growing team.

You will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities for aviation materials, equipment and services, by collaborating with various departments and suppliers across the region to achieve compliance and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Supply & Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the supply team.

This position is ideal for someone with strong logistics and purchasing experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that keeps our operations running smoothly and safely.

 

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with other CPU team members to manage, process, and monitor repairable/rotable parts and components
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by continuously reviewing and adjusting min/max thresholds in consultation with the Supply and Purchasing Manage or Director of Procurement & Contracts, APAC.
  • Shared processing, administration, and monitoring of parts/component warranties with other CPU members
  • Liaise and action requisitions from all Engineering and Operational Bases locations within the same day whenever possible
  • Liaise directly with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and orders
  • Monitor and report on expired parts across all Engineering and Operational Bases, with monthly reviews on the first working day
  • Conduct aeronautical acceptance and Inwards Goods inspection, receipting, and dispatching of parts, forwarding, or filing of release and invoice documentation and recording inventory movements in and out of system as required for after-hours receipting and/or dispatch
  • Address non-conforming products immediately in accordance with the Logistics Manual.

 

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Aviation experience desirable, will consider experience in logistics and procurement
  • An ability to interpret technical data correctly and apply the information to satisfactorily complete purchasing and logistics tasks
  • Knowledge of aircraft manufacturers and product suppliers
  • Relevant aircraft/product knowledge
  • A sound understanding of conformity acceptance inspections and processes
  • Experience using computerised inventory management systems
