About the role

PHI is seeking a dynamic commercial leader to maintain strong relationships with existing customers while driving growth in current markets and spearheading diversification into new sectors. This role will focus on expanding PHI’s footprint in EMS, utility, and other targeted markets, while continuing to deliver excellence in existing markets.

You will identify opportunities for direct market entry, strategic partnerships, and acquisitions, and lead initiatives that influence procurement processes in PHI’s favour. The position requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, tender leadership, and contract negotiation, working closely with PHI’s Asia Pacific Leadership Team and other stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and identify new opportunities.
  • Drive diversification into EMS, utility, and other targeted sectors through market entry strategies, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Lead end-to-end tender processes, including bid strategy, documentation, and compliance.
  • Negotiate customer contracts in collaboration with leadership and internal teams.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Champion PHI’s brand and reputation in all target markets.

 

About you:

  • Proven experience in commercial and business development roles within aviation or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships across industry and government.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on capability to execute complex initiatives.
  • Experience in EMS or similar critical service markets will be highly regarded.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by the business.
