About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Officer to join our dynamic and growing team.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting PHI’s commitment to delivering high‑quality service and driving continuous improvement across our operations. You will contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely dispatch and monitoring of scheduled flights, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Operations
Centre Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and monitoring
flight activities to ensure operational efficiency and overall success across
the operation.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordination of all scheduled and unscheduled flights.
- Constantly assess crew & aircraft availability, environmental & operational limitations.
- Assist in confirmation and conveyance of passenger manifests to flight crews and ensure proper documentation of passengers, baggage, cargo, and freight.
- Maintain continuous flight following of helicopter flights.
- Identify departure and arrival times and maintain effective communications with the operational crew and offshore facilities.
- Prepare the flight manifest and ensure the pilots have a copy.
- Provide outstanding customer service in effectively handling all incoming communications.
- Ensure efficient information flow to allow for timely departure of flights and reporting reasons for delayed departures as required or necessary.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Must hold or be eligible to apply for an ASIC card
- Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- No prior experience required - full training will be provided
